Young Male Llamas

These colourful characters are a source of endless entertainment ! In the first 6 months it can be hard to assess stud male potential , or the personality of such young llamas well enough to know who will make a great trekker and who would be a good guard llama etc. as a lot can change over the next few months . When they reach weaning age at 6 months they go into a bachelor group of all male llamas , we start halter-training them , and this is when we really get to know them !
